Samantha and Chris were married in the most detailed wedding I have ever photographed in my long career as a wedding photographer. Perfectly coordinated by Something Perfect , this wedding was nothing short of a photographer’s dreamscape. It’s probably going to be the longest blog post in my blog there’s so much! Mini pizzas, personalized coasters, a camo groom’s cake with a personalized topper featuring the couple’s boxers… it just never ended! I was photographing details right up until the glow stick send-off!
I met Samantha and Chris at their proposal a year before… I helped plan it :). And I fell in love with them so hard I just had to be there for them on their wedding day on the other side of the US in Charlotte. It was a warm weekend, but a fun one. No time to be shy or reserved as the wonderful Tucci family took me in right away as one of their own and showed me the best time. They fed me, they put me up in the lovely Westin Charlotte… It was a wonderful time and I thank them profusely for their hospitality.
So now, some months later (Samantha and Chris now have an amazingly BEAUTIFUL baby girl Maria along with those precious boxers) I was thinking about them a lot and I decided to FINALLY tackle the extreme blog post that is their wedding at the Mint Museum Uptown in Charlotte. I know, I know… way to be lazy Kel. But, you know, I’ve been a little busy.
Friends and family… the beautifully imaginative, Samantha and Chris (and Ava and Sarge).
And I didn’t even put in all the details!!! Just about half of them! There was Philly Cheese Steak service! I can’t even! I would be here blogging all month! I love this wedding… it’s still one of my all-time favorites and a great example of how much you can achieve from your wedding day with the right coordinator by your side.
Over a year later, I’m still so happy for this beautiful couple and now beautiful family. All my love to the Louis-Jacques’ and the Tuccis, may your love continue to grow as well as your families.
Have a great week everyone!
Kel
