Carol and Duncan called me to photograph their early morning courthouse wedding in Holte eager to find someone that would add a level of fun to their already joyous day. It would be quick, it would be quite small but in the little time we would share together they wanted to laugh as much as possible. I was excited even though it was just a moment in my very long day and when the morning came, I woke up thrilled to capture the beauty before me. 

 The day of their wedding we all arose to a warm summer-like breeze, not a cloud in the sky and smiling faces everywhere. I arrived on the train, coffee in hand and enjoyed a lovely hour with my new friends as they made their commitment to each other inside a quietly empty courthouse. 

We laughed a lot, we shared a quick drink and a little walk in the woods... they even humored me with a ride back to the train in Carol's "something new" (a cute red car) and snapped a couple photos by the lake as I waited for the train home. 

All-in-all a great way to begin the day. They went off to a circus their daughter was performing in, I went to a job interview hahaha! Oh well, still a rather glorious morning.
